This is the three-day schedule for the Grand Prix 2023:

Thursday, 16 November and Friday, 17 November

The first round of practice will take place on Thursday, starting at 8:30 p.m. PST The session will end at 9:30 PST. The event will continue throughout dawn with the second practice starting Friday at 12:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m.

Friday, 17 November and Saturday, 18 November

The third session of practice will start the following evening at 8:30 p.m. finishing at 9:30 p.m. This will be followed by the Qualifying round, which will begin on Saturday, 18 November at 12:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m.

Saturday, 18 November

The main race for the Grand Prix 2023 will take place on Saturday evening at 10:00 p.m. (PST)

Is there an American F1 driver?

Yes. American Logan Sargeant drives for the Williams racing team. He was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and has a long racing career.  Started in karting in 2008 and later entered Formula 4, Formula Renault Eurocup, FIA Formula 3 and Formula 2 before joining the Williams Driver Academy, then becoming a driver for the team.

He made his Formula One practice debut with Williams at the 2022 United States Grand Prix, being the first American driver to take part in a weekend session since Alexander Rossi in 2015. On November 21, 2022, it was announced that Sergeant would be driving for the 2023 season.

Until now, Sergeant has had 20 starts in Formula 1 but has not received any wins nor podiums. He has 1 point in the current championship. He is the first American driver to score a point in Formula One since Michael Andretti at the 1993 Italian Grand Prix. His highest race finish was 10th place.
